Zamalek’s striker Amr Zaki left Sunday’s team training after feeling hamstring pain and became doubtful for Young Africans clash scheduled on Saturday.
"Zaki will undergo some medical tests during the coming 48 hours to decide his fate for Young Africans’ clash," Zamalek’s doctor Ayman Farid told Ahram Online on Sunday.
“The first diagnosis confirmed that his injury is not serious but the player will undergo some scans to be sure about his capacity to play against Young Africans,” he added
The international striker made a good return with the White Knights, after three months of absence due to his problems with the club’s board, on scoring the equalizer for Zamalek in their 1-1 draw against Young Africans in the first leg last week.
Zamalek who are looking for its first continental title since 2002, will meet Young Africans on Saturday in the military Academy stadium behind closed doors.
