Ahly's striker Salah Mohsen has joined rivals Smouha on loan until the end of the current season, the Cairo giants announced on Monday.

"Mohsen joined Smouha in a six-month loan deal," said a short statement on Ahly's official website without disclosing any financial details.

The 21-year-old Mohsen, who joined the Reds in 2018 from Enppi, has scored four goal in four appearances in all competitions so far this season.

Ahly recently announced sending their Moroccan striker Walid Azzaro out on loan to Saudi side Ettifaq after the signing of Senegalese striker Aliou Badji.

Champions Ahly currently lead the Egyptian Premier League table with 36 points from 12 matches, while Smouha lie in eighth place with 19 points from 14 matches.
