Tunisian forward Fakhreddine Ben Youssef enjoyed a dream debut for Ismaily after scoring the winner against El-Entag El-Harby 3-2 on Thursday.
The 28-year old Tunisian – who joined the Dervishes on 22 January – fired a right-foot winner into the right top corner in the 68th minute to claim three precious points for the hosts.
El-Entag El-Harby came back twice from behind as Moaz El-Hennawi, 22, and Mohamed Ragab, 55, cancelled Mohamed Hashem, 6, and Baher El-Mohamadi, 29.
Ben Youssef, who played 46 games for Tunisia, scoring six goals, joined Ismaily on 22 January on a free transfer after terminating his contract with Saudi side Al-Ettifaq by mutual consent earlier in January.
The former Sfaxien, Metz and Esperance forward started the game and rewarded his French coach Didier Gomes Da Rosa with the match winner to level his team to the seventh place of the Egyptian Premier League table with 21 points after 15 games.
