Already-qualified Pyramids FC ended their group stage campaign in the Confederation Cup by claiming an easy 1-0 win over Mauritania's Nouadhibou in Cairo, thanks to a 75th-minute winner from Ghanaian striker John Antwi.

The game was initially scheduled to take place in Mauritania but both sides agreed to play the game in Cairo, especially given that the result would have no impact on the clubs' fate in the continental competition.

Pyramids, who topped Group A with 15 points, had already ensured their progress with two matches to spare three weeks ago. Nouadhibou lie at the bottom with two points from six games.

The match, a drab affair, was only sparked to life when Antwi chested home on the rebound after a header from Ahmed Ayman struck the post in the 59th minute.

Fellow Egyptian side Masry, who had also already qualified as runners-up with nine points, will face Nigeria's Enugu Rangers away from home in the other match of the group later on Sunday.
