Egyptian club Masry announced that the team's coach Ehab Galal will remain in his post until the end of the season despite recent rumours about his departure.
The future of the 52-year-old tactician with the coastal side was recently uncertain after a string of poor results.
Following Thursday's 2-2 draw against Tanta, Galal announced he will discuss his resignation with the management, but according to Masry's vice president Mohamed El-Kholy the coach was given a vote of confidence.
"We agreed Galal will remain in his post until the end of the season," El-Kholy told Zamalek TV channel.
"We agreed to resolve all the problems we faced recently.
"It is time for Masry fans to give full support to the team," he added.
Former Zamalek coach Galal, who became in charge since December 2018, led Masry in 46 games, of which he won 21, tied in 15, and lost in 10.
Masry is now in 12th place in the Egyptian Premier League standings with 17 points after playing 14 matches, and succeeded in qualifying to the knockout stage of the Confederation of African Football Cup as second of Group A with nine points.
