Ismaily management have rubbished reports linked the team's international defender Baher Elmohamady with a move from the club when the winter transfer window reopens, confirming the player is a key element in their rebuilt project.

Reports in the Egyptian media claimed that Ismaily football team key trio Baher Elmohamady, Abdel Rahman Magdi and Mohamed Sadeq are close to leave the club next summer.

"All the rumors spread in the media related to Ismaily's players departure are false as it aim to suspend our rebuilt project, Ismaily president Ibrahim Osman was quoted as saying on the club's official website.

"The trio is among the players that the management extended their contracts for a long time as they are key elements in the rebuilt project," he added.

"I ask all Ismaily's supporters to back the team and don’t pay attention to the rumors," Ibrahim Osman said.
