Zamalek's strike duo Amr Zaki and Mido are expected to shrug off their respective injuries in time to play against Africa Sports in the first leg of the African Champions League round of 32 on 8 April.
Mido missed the first leg due to a back injury while Zaki sustained an Achilles injury during the game, which Zamalek won 1-0 in Cairo, thanks to an early goal from Benin frontman Razak Omotoyossi.
"Zaki needs to rest for four days, after which he should return to training," Zamalek doctor Ayman Farid said on Tuesday.
"Mido will return to training next week. Both men are scheduled to play against Africa Sports in the second leg."
Zaki pulled out of Egypt's squad for a training camp in Sudan after sustaining the injury. Mido has yet to regain his place in the Pharaohs' squad as he still tries to establish himself with his boyhood club after losing weight recently.
