Egyptian giants Ahly have resumed their trainings after a two-day break for the second leg of round 32 in the CAF Champions League against Ethiopian Coffee.
Many players missed the session due to injuries and national duties, such as Mohamed Abou-Treika, Hossam Ghlay, Ahmed Fathy, Mohamed Naguib and Walid Soliman.
The international-team players will fly Wednesday with the Pharaohs to Sudan for a closed camp amid preparations for the continental competitions.
The highlight of Wednesday’s training was the return of striker Emad Meteb, who recently recovered from appendix surgery.
The reds, playing their first competitive game since the Port Said disaster, had an away goalless draw in the first leg last Sunday.
