ENPPI reached the CAF Confederation Cup round of 16 after crushing Burundian side Lydia LB Academic 4-1 in Cairo on Saturday to complete a 5-2 aggregate win.

The match was played behind closed doors due to security concerns, with the interior ministry refusing to allow spectators to attend any domestic games following the 1 February Port Said disaster.

Ahmed Abdel-Zaher gave the 2011 Egypt Cup winners, who dominated the entire game, the lead after five minutes and strike partner Ahmed Raouf doubled the advantage in the 37th minute.

Raouf scored two more goals in the 45 and 74 minutes to complete his hat-trick and send ENPPI to the last 16 as they continue their bid to become the first Egyptian side to win Africa's secondary club competition.

ENPPI won 5-2 on aggregate as the first leg ended in a 1-1 draw in Burundi two weeks ago.
