Egyptian Premier League side ENPPI revealed on Tuesday that Bulgarian team CSKA Sophia had enquired about the possibility of acquiring the services of ENPPI's international striker Ahmed Abdel-Zaher at the start of the next season.

Former ENPPI coach Stoycho Mladenov, who is head of the technical staff of the Bulgarian side, had urged CSKA management to sign the Egyptian striker.

Under the guidance of Mladenov, the international striker clinched the title of Egyptian Premier League top scorer last season with 13 goals.
