Coach Hassan Shehata has given his approval to stage Zamalek's preparation camp for the next season in Kuwait, from 21 to 28 May.
The Cairo giants are set to play at least two warm-up games in the Gulf country against compatriot Ismaily and the Kuwaiti team Al-Nasr.
"Shehata agreed to play in Kuwait on condition that the trip will not involve aany official engagements," a statement read on the club's web site on Thursday.
Football action in Egypt has been suspended since the Port Said tragedy after the Masry-Ahly game that left more than 70 supporters dead and hundreds injured on 1 February.
The Egyptian FA has cancelled this season's league, saying the new season will kick off in June.
However there have been attempts to play Egypt's Cup but security fears have so far prevented them from being followed through. Negotiations are ongoing between the EFA, clubs and minister of interior to decide the fate of competition.
