The one-off Total African Super Cup game between Morocco’s Renaissance Berkane, the winners of the Confederation Cup title,  and the winner of the upcoming CAF Champions League game will be played in Egypt on 10 December, Egyptian Football Association board member Mohamed Fadl announced.

"The African Super Cup game will be played on 10 December," Fadl told a television programme.

Egyptian giants Ahly will face Zamalek for the CAF Champions League title on Friday 27 November in Cairo International Stadium.

The annual African Super Cup game was initially scheduled to be held in Qatar between 14-16 August 2020. It was then delayed due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

The CAF had announced on Friday that Egypt will host the Super Cup game but did not set the date.

Ahly holds the record for the most African Super Cup wins with six titles, followed by fellow Cairo-based team Zamalek with four titles.
