Third-placed Zamalek is set to face the bottom side of the Egyptian Premier League table Talae El-Gaish on Saturday at the Army Stadium in Suez in the sixth round of the league.
El-Gaish have collected only one point after five matches, while the Whites have 10 points after four matches with three wins and a draw.
Zamalek's Portuguese coach Jaime Pacheco did not include Tunisian midfielder Ferjani Sassi in his squad or bulldozer striker Mostafa Mohamed due to crises surrounding their contracts renewal.
Moreover, Moroccan winger Hamid Ahadad was also not included in Saturday's squad because of his reported desire to leave the team. Zamalek TV channel had reported that the 26-year-old winger asked Pacheco to leave Zamalek as he dosen't accept a substitute role, which was approved by the coach.
However, Zamalek’s striker problem will be partially resolved as promising striker Osama Faisal will be ready for El-Gaish’s game after having fully recovered from COVID-19.
Zamalek's squad list for Talae El-Gaish game came as follow:
Goalkeepers: Mohamed Abo Gabal, Mohamed awaad.
