Ahly coach Pitso Mosimane said on Monday that he is satisfied with his side’s performance against Bayern Munich in the Club World Cup semis, though he stressed that the Red Devils' offensive reaction should have been more aggressive during the game.
The African champions slumped to their first defeat under the guidance of Mosimane on Monday when they lost 2-0 to Bayern Munich in a game that saw a complete domination from the European champions in terms of possession.
"We played against a very good team which dominated the game in terms of possession, " Mosimane told BeIN sports after the game.
"Our rhythm was slow, especially in the beginning of the second half."
"We should have been more keen on the ball possession and to try to attack."
"But I am satisfied with the team’s performance as we played well against a very good team and we knew from before that game would be very tough," he added
Ahly will face Brazilian side Palmeras in the third match place on Thursday.
