17:30 All Zamalek's players have tested negative for COVID-19 after undergoing rapid blood tests ahead of the Cairo derby showdown against Ahly.

16:30 Ahly will do without number of their key-players including veteran goalkeeper Mohamed El-Shennawy who tested positive for COVID-19, Tunisian left back Ali Maaloul, right back Mohamed Hani, winger Junior Ajayi and midfielder Hamdi Fathi, due to injuries.

14:00 Egyptian referee Mahmoud El-Banna will take charge of Sunday's Cairo derby for the first time in three years as the country's football federation turned down requests from Ahly and Zamalek to bring in a foreign official.
