The draw of the African Confederation Cup quarter finals held on Friday puts Egypt’s Pyramids in front of Nigerian-side Enyimba
Pyramids booked their ticket at the quarterfinals after finishing the group stage second in Group D with 12 points, winning in four matches and losing in the remaining two matches which were against group leaders Morocco’s Rajaa Casablanca who have won all their games.
Meanwhile Enyimba’s Group A was on fire until the last round, before they succeed to finish first , after collecting nine points from three victories and losing in the remaining three matches.
South Africa’s Orlando Pirates came second (nine points), while Entente Sportive Sétifienne (eight points) and Al-Ahli Benghazi (seven points) finished third and fourth respectively.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced also that the Confederation Cup quarter finals' first legs will be played on May 16 and second legs on May 23.
