Zamalek will need to win against Ghazl El-Mahalla in Saturday’s game in the 28th round of the Egyptian Premier League to keep their chances of winning the title alive after tying with Ahly in points.

The White Knights are now under massive pressure as both teams have the same number of points, but Ahly have the head-to-head advantage.

Also, Zamalek players haven’t played any official games in more than nine weeks, which may affect their form badly despite playing many friendly games against low profile teams.

Saturday’s match is expected to be a tough one for the Whites; in the first half of the season, El-Mahalla defeated Zamalek after netting a stoppage-time goal.

To win the league, Zamalek need Ahly to lose or equalize in any of their next games, while at the same time winning all of their upcoming matches.
