Zamalek Moroccan forward Hamid Ahadad is heading back home to join Raja Casablanca after a three-year spell in Egypt.
Zamalek announced on Monday that they have agreed to transfer the player for $100k, with Ahadad waiving his remaining dues from Zamalek.
The 26-year-old forward joined Raja on loan last season, where he made a good impression after scoring nine goals in 22 matches.
However, he failed to make an impact after his return to the Cairo giants, scoring only three goals in 14 games before being relegated to the bench.
Ahadad joined the Whites in the summer transfer window of the 2018-2019 season after Zamalek shelled out €1.2 million to acquire him from Morocco’s Difaâ Hassani Al-Jadidi.
During his spell, he helped Zamalek win the African Confederation and Egypt cups in 2019 along with the Egyptian Premier League in 2021.
