The return match will be played on 22 October at Alexandria’s Borg Al-Arab stadium.

Zamalek’s international players will be joining their teammates in Nairobi on Wednesday after ending their international duty.

The Cairo giants, who won their last Champions League title in 2002, were surprisingly eliminated from the group stage last season.

Zamalek, the runners up of the 2020 edition, were given a bye into the round of 32. Meanwhile, Tusker FC reached the round of 32 after beating Arta Solar of Djibouti 4-1 on aggregate in the preliminary round.
