The 44-year-old coach replaced Egyptian Tala't Youssef in leading Ismaily after the team's poor run in the domestic league this season.
"Despite my young age I have more experience and my mission with team is to return to the ordinary ranking," Brown told a press conference on Sunday.
"I know the history of the team well and I recognize that they [play] brilliant football so they are called Egypt's Brazil," he added.
Ismaily has lost all three games since the start of the Egyptian Premier League this season, putting them at the tail-end of the teams' table with no points, prompting the team's management to sign a foreign coach to stop the losing streak.
Brown's men will face a tough mission when they play Egyptian Premier League title holders Zamalek in the fourth matchday of the league on Friday
"I think the coming games will be difficult but we are confident on the players' ability to return to winning ways," the Argentinean coach added.
"I don't pay attention to the past as I will concentrate on the coming games and we will do our best to improve the performance," Juan Brown concluded.
