Zamalek football team continued their training on Sunday morning for the CAF Champions League under the management of Hassan Shehata.

The team will clash with Ghana's Chelsea on 8 July before confronting arch-rivals Ahly on 21 July in the group stage.

Veteran midfielder Ahmed Hassan missed the session after taking a week off for personal reasons. Striker Ahmed Gaafar did not participate after sustaining a leg injury during training on Saturday.

Striker Ahmed El-Merghany was given permission to miss training and attend university exams.

Ahmed Ghanem and Alaa Ali, meanwhile, trained individually under the supervision of assistant coach Ismail Yussif.
