Maqassa striker Oussou Konan (M)
Egypt’s Ahly have reached an agreement with Egyptian side Maqassa to land Ivorian striker Oussou Konan in the current summer transfer window.
"We have agreed to give Konan to Ahly in exchange for LE1 million. We will also obtain the services of Ahly duo Hussein El-Sayed and Hisham Mohamed," Maqassa Coach Tarek Yehia told Ahram Sport on Monday.
"I'm satisfied with the deal; both Ahly players will be a great addition to our team," Yehia added.
The 23-year-old forward joined Maqassa in 2010 from Tunisia’s Esperance, quickly proving himself in the domestic league.
Ahly's new technical staff, headed by Coach Hossam El-Badry, is reportedly trying to strengthen the team's frontline amid rumours that the Brazilian striker is on his way out.
The Cairo giants will play three friendly matches during their summer training camp, set to kick off in Turkey on Saturday.
