"From Burkina Faso to Cairo, Blati Toure is now a Pyramids player," the Emirati-owned outfit said on their social media accounts, albeit without providing any further details.
Toure, who left Sweden's AFC Eskilstuna this month, is a key member of Burkina Faso's Nations Cup squad as the Stallions enjoyed a superb run to the last four in Cameroon.
He was named man of the match as Burkina Faso stunned Tunisia 1-0 in the quarter-final on Saturday, less than an hour before Pyramids made their announcement.
The 27-year-old provided an astute pass from his own half, which Dango Ouattara latched onto to fire home the winner on the stroke of halftime.
Toure was also chosen as the best player when Burkina Faso defeated Gabon on penalties following a 1-1 draw in the tournament's round of 16 last week.
Pyramids were looking to strengthen their squad before the closure of the January transfer window as they seek to challenge for the Egyptian Premier League and African Confederation Cup titles.
They made a fine start to their domestic league campaign as they lie third in the table with 17 points from seven games, just two behind leaders Ahly.
