Masry were unlucky not to go ahead in the first half, with striker Amr Marei wasting two goal-scoring chances.
The hosts dominated the second half but they failed to find a breakthrough, with Masry goalkeeper Ahmed Massoud in inspired form as he pulled off a series of fine saves to keep them at bay.
Masry are second in Group C with one point, two behind leaders TP Mazembe of DR Congo, who defeated Congolese side Otoho 1-0 at home.
The Port Said-based club will host Mazembe on 20 February, with Otoho taking on Coton Sport in the same day.
