Zamalek's Benin striker Razak Omotoyossi said he won't return to Egypt if he does not receive outstanding unpaid wages from last season.

The Cairo giants owe the 26-year-old striker some $70,000 from the last campaign. According to Al-Ahram's Arabic-language news website, Omotoyossi hopes to receive at least part of this, along with the cancelation of penalties imposed on him for the late return.

Most of Egypt's cash-strapped football clubs have been suffering since the nationwide suspension of football activities following February's infamous Port Said stadium disaster.

The talented striker, who impressed Zamalek last season, failed to report back to the team after playing with Benin in World Cup qualifiers.

Zamalek now appear less dependent on the player, however, after having secured the services of Burkina Faso striker Abdoulaye Cisse from Masry in May.
