Reports in the Egyptian media claimed that Enppi management failed to agree with coach Toulan to sell some players after receiving huge offers from teams in the Egyptian Premier League while the veteran coach asked to keep his squad to continue competing in the domestic competitions.

Enppi are in ninth place in the Egyptian Premier League table with 26 points after playing 21 games so far this season.

The Petroleum team are reportedly in talks with former Zamalek coach Vieira, 69, to replace Toulan in his position.

Under the helm of Toulan, Enppi gave a superb performance in the Egyptian Premier League this season, only losing one game against Ahly in the last nine games.

They defeated title holders Zamalek 2-0 and they were close to winning against Ahly last week as they took the 1-0 lead during the game before left-back Ali Maaloul snatched the victory in the injury time to finish the game with 2-1 win for the Reds.

The 72-year-old Toulan is one of the most experienced coaches in the league, with multiple stints managing Cairo giants Zamalek in the past.
