Zamalek's new signing, Ahmed El-Shennawy, attended preseason training with the club for the first time on Tuesday after completing his loan deal from Masry.
White Knights officials had headed to Port Said to finalise the goalkeeper's one-season loan contract.
The 21-year-old, who signed a five-year contract with Port Said's Masry earlier last season, is one of Egypt's rising stars.
He was forced to leave Masry after the team was suspended for a year and relegated to the second division, following the Port Said Stadium disaster which left more than 70 football fans dead in February.
