Zamalek goalkeeper and skipper Abdel-Wahed El-Sayed has signed a three-year extension to his contract that will keep him tied to the Whites until 2015.

The veteran keeper was rumoured to be planning to leave Zamaelk in frustration at being "ignored" by the club's management after a goalie from Masry, Ahmed El-Shennawy, joined  the club on a one-year loan.

"El-Sayed has officially signed a three-year contract extension with the club after agreeing to waive 25% of his financial dues from last season," the club said in a statement on their official website late on Tuesday without disclosing further details.

The 34-year old goalkeeper, whose current contract was due to expire this month, began his career with the Whites in 1999, quickly becoming one of the club's key players and helping them win three Egyptian league titles.
