Ahly coach Hossam El-Badry has given midfielder Moataz Eno the green light to leave the Red Devils should he want, according to a statement on the club's official website Wednesday.
The 52-year old coach, who succeeded Portuguese Manuel Jose, met the player Wednesday and gave him the freedom to transfer as well as wishing him the best of luck in the future.
“El-Badry pointed out to Eno that he is a talented and committed player and that El-Badry never underestimated him as he has outstanding skills and a respectful demeanour,” reads the club's online announcement.
The 27-year-old player, who is contracted to the Egyptian champions until the end of 2013, announced that he has received transfer offers from Meqassa and Wadi Degla clubs among others but is still mulling over them.
“I respect the technical staff decision. I am the one who asked about my future with the club as I want to play and don’t want to stay as a substitute,” Eno told Ahram Online after his meeting with El-Badry.
During Jose's era, Eno originally announced his interest in potentially leaving the Reds.
The Cairo-based club also announced Wednesday that their youngster player Ahmed El-Esh was offered a loan deal from Gouna, however, technical staff are yet to come to a decision on the matter.
