Karim Walid opened the scoring for Future FC in the 33 rd minute, while defender Saad Samir doubled the lead seven minutes later, helping his side head to the locker rooms with a comfortable advantage.

Striker Ahmed Atef added the third in the stroke of the hour-mark, five minutes before Mohamed Farouk’s goal who made it 4-0.

Substitute striker Marwan Mohsen completed the rout with ten minutes remaining, while Yehya Hamed scored the consolation goal for the Nile Delta club in injury time.

Earlier in the day, Ismaily clinched the third place after defeating Enppi 5-4 on penalties following a 1-1 draw in regular time.

The League Cup was introduced this season as the country's third-tier competition.

Most high-profile clubs relied on some fringe players in the League Cup. Cairo giants Ahly and Zamalek as well as the big-spending Pyramids FC were all eliminated in the group stage.
