The Whites have 75 points and have secured the title with three games remaining as second-placed Pyramids FC have lost against Future FC 1-0 on Monday.

Zamalek managed to claim back-to-back titles for the first time since defending their title in 2004.

Portuguese coach Jesualdo Ferreira is the one to be credited for this success. After a struggling start of the season, the veteran tactician was brought back to Zamalek in March and managed to turn their fortunes around.

They sparked when it mattered the most as they embarked on a relentless run of victories in the final stretch claiming 10 straight victories that kept all their rivals at bay.

Ferreira has now won four titles with the Cairo giants after winning the league title in 2015 and 2022 and Egypt Cup titles in 2015 and 2021.

amalek will face Ittihad of Alexandria on Tuesday and will have the chance to celebrate their triumph on the pitch.
