The 21-year-old is Ahly's third signing during the ongoing summer transfer window after striker Shady Hussein, 29, and Brazilian winger Bruno Savio, 28, who joined the Reds midweek.
Saad produced a string of strong displays with Ceramica Cleopatra that caught the eyes of Egypt U-23 coach Rogerio Micale who named him among the 28-man list that started a training camp in Alexandria in preparation for the team’s upcoming commitments.
He scored three goals and provided two assists during 39 appearances with Cleopatra.
Ahly, who are looking to bolster their squad after another disappointing season that saw them finish third in the Egyptian Premier League, signed Savio from Bolivia's Club Bolivar on a three-year contract on Tuesday.
