Morocco International right-back Mohamed Chibi
“From Rabat to Cairo; Mohamed Chibi in Pyramids FC,” read a statement on the club’s official twitter account.
The 29-year-old defender has become the second major signing by Pyramids FC in the summer transfer window after Egypt international left-back Karim Hafez.
Last week, Pyramids FC signed Hafez, 26, for two seasons in a free transfer after his contract with the Turkish side Yeni Malatyaspor expired in July.
Chibi made 55 appearances with FAR Rabat, scoring 3 goals and provided 13 assists.
He made five appearances with Morocco senior national team since joining the Atlas Lions in 2021, playing in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers and the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations, scoring one goal.
