Al-Wehda did not disclose any financial details of the deal.

The 29-year-old Refaat joined Future FC from rivals Masry in October 2021, scoring nine goals in 29 appearances last season.

The former Zamalek and Enppi player made his debut with Egypt’s senior national football team in 2021 and has made five appearances so far with the Pharaohs.

Al-Wehda, who has not won a league title since 2010, ended the last season at the third place.

Meanwhile, Future FC ended the Egyptian league in the fifth place.
