Pyramids FC announced the deal but did not disclose any details.
El-Said's current four-year contract was due to expire next summer.
Pyramids FC's announcement ended all recent media reports that linked the player with a move to Egyptian League champions Zamalek.
“I remember my first day, first goal, first joy and the first trip to the African Champions League with the team. My story with Pyramids FC isn’t over yet,” El-Said said in a video posted on Pyramids’ official twitter account.
One of the most decorated players in Egyptian football in the last two decades, El-Said - a prolific attacking midfielder in addition to being a brilliant playmaker - has scored 122 goals and made tens of assists in the Egyptian premier league so far in his career.
He started his career with the Suez Canal side Ismaily and starred for Dervishes from 2004-2011.
El-Said's stardom was solidified on a national level after moving to Ahly in 2011.
In seven years at Ahy, he was instrumental in helping the Red Devils win four Egyptian Premier League titles, two Egyptian Super Cups, two African Champions League titles and a Confederation Cup title, and two CAF Super Cup.
In January 2019, he joined Pyramids FC from the Saudi Arabian side Ahly Jeddah on a free transfer.
Since joining Pyramids, El-Said has played a key role in helping the new comer to the league achieve impressive results - domestically and continentally - but no trophies yet.
In three years with the team, El-Said helped Pyramids win third place in the league two years in a row and a second place last season, allowing the team to play in the African continental tourmaments.
He took Pyramids to the African Confederation Cup final in 2020, but the team lost to Morocco's RS Berkane.
He also took Pyramids to the 2019 Egypt Cup final game, but the team also lost to none but his former side Ahly.
Nevermind, he was crowned the Egyptian Premier League top scorer for the first time in his career with Pyramids in the 2019-2020 season after scoring 17 goals.
He netted 41 goals and tens of assists in 138 appearances for Pyramids in all competitions.
Farewell to the Pharoahs
Last February, El-Said announced his retirement from international football after playing for the senior national team since 2008,.
He helped take the Pharaohs to the final game of the Africa Cup of Nations in 2017 and to the World Cup in Russia in 2018.
He scored six goals in 55 matches with the Pharaohs in all competitions.
