Ahly and Zamalek clash in Abu Dhabi for their seventh meeting in the annual one-match competition.
"We have many experienced players who played a big number of such high-profile clashes," Komsan said on Ahly's official website.
"These players will have a vital role to play during the Super Cup."
Komsan also underlined the importance of the game, which he said can help Ahly make a fine start to the season and give their fans some encouraging signs after a disappointing campaign last season.
The Red Devils began last term with a stunning shootout loss to Talae El-Geish in the Super Cup before finishing third in the Egyptian Premier League. They also lost to Morocco's Wydad in the African Champions League final.
Ahly are the record Egyptian Super Cup winners with 11 titles, followed by Zamalek on four.
