“Aswan management have agreed with coach Rabie Yassin not to complete his mission with team amicably with the club’s board set to announce the name of the new coach in the coming hours,” read a statement released by Aswan early on Sunday.
The former Egypt U-23 national team coach is first coach to be axed in the Egyptian Premier League only after three games.
Aswan lost all their three games so far – 1-0 against Ittihad of Alexandria, 1-0 against Ahly and 1-0 against Ghazl El-Mahalla – without scoring any goals.
Aswan are in the bottom of the Egyptian Premier League teams’ table with no points. They are scheduled to face topflight Future FC in the fourth matchday of the League on 23 November.
Aswan booked their place in the Egyptian Premier League after leading the table in the second division league.
