Ahly will reportedly face Zamalek in the Cairo derby clash on Saturday without the services of big number of key players due to injuries and suspension.

Reports in the Egyptian media revealed that veteran midfielder Amr El-Sulaya, defenders Yasser Ibrahim and Mohamed Abdel-Monem will miss the match due to injuries.

They join three previously injured players: Akram Tawfik, Karim Fouad and Mostafa Shobier.

Defender Mahmoud Metwally will miss the Cairo derby clash after receiving his third yellow card during the goalless draw with Masry in the Egyptian Premier league last week.

The Cairo giants are scheduled to face Zamalek in the 14th matchday of the Egyptian Premier League on Saturday at Cairo International Stadium.

Ahly are in the driving seat of the league’s table with 31 points after playing 13 games so far this season, five points over Zamalek who are fourth in the ranking.
