Both teams come into the game with contrasting fortunes: Ahly currently ranks 1st in the league with 40 points in just 16 games, while Dakhleya are in a more precarious position, ranking 15th in the league with 16 points and only one point away from the relegation zone.

Ahly produced a shaky performance during their 2-2 draw against Sundowns in the champions league on Saturday.

Similarly, Dakhleya lost 2-1 to Ittihad of Alexandria after being tied till 90+5 minute.

The Red Devils will face some difficulty in their match against Dakhleya as they will be without some important players.

Mahmoud Metwally and Hussein El-Shahat have both been sidelined due to muscle strains, while Amr El-Suleya and Brazilian Bruno Savio continue to be absent as they are yet to fully recover from their injuries.

Despite these absences, Ahly will be looking to build on their strong start to the season and extend their lead at the top of the league standings.

Dakhleya cannot afford to lose any more points as they are seeking to move away from the relegation zone.
