Zamalek striker Amr Zaki won't play in the CAF Mazembe clash, distracted by the transfer offer by Turkish club Gaziantep

Zamalek caretaker coach Ismail Yussef announces that he will not include striker Amr Zaki in the CAF Champions League clash against DR Congo’s TP Mazembe.

"Zaki is not ready for the decisive match and the technical staff will only name players who are ready, with no consideration to who they are," Yussef was quoted as saying on the club’s official website Monday.

The White Knights, who were hit by the resignation of manager, Hassan Shehata, are bottom of Group B with no points after two successive defeats against Ghana’s Chelsea and  archrivals Ahly.

"Although he returned to training [after four days of indiscipline] Zaki is not really focused, especially after he received the Turkish move offer," Yussef added.

The 28-year-old forward had revealed earlier that he received a transfer offer from Turkish side Gaziantepspor of 250,000 Euros, and also expressed his hoped that the Cairo giants would give him the green light.

"I am hoping that the club agrees to my move amicably, since this is the best for all sides," the former Wigan player said.
