The White Knights are looking to leave their struggles in the African Champions League behind and redeem themselves in the eyes of their fans.

The two-time defending champions have dropped to fifth in the table following a string of poor performances in 2023 to trail leaders Ahly by nine points.

On the other hand, Pyramids FC are in contention for the title as they are second with 38 points, three adrift of the Red Devils who played two games less.

Zamalek will be buoyed by the return of one of their key players, Ahmed Fattouh, who was out in the previous matches due to injury, as well as Mostafa El-Zanari after he has recovered from a recent injury.

Pyramids, however, will be no pushover and will be looking to use their form to put a stop to Zamalek's ambitions. Despite the odds being slightly against them, the team is confident of their abilities and will be gunning for a win.

They will be missing inspirational winger Ramadan Sobhi who has been ruled out of this game due to injury.

This match will be highly anticipated, with Zamalek and Pyramids renewing their rivalry as they face each other for the 14th time in the league. Zamalek hold the upper hand, having won nine matches against Pyramids, while the two teams have tied in three and the latter has won only one.
