Following this win, they remain third in the Group with five points, three points behind leaders Pyramids FC who defeated Togolese side ASKO de Kara 4-1 earlier in the day.

The Moroccan side are second with seven points.

Future FC striker Marwan Mohsen converted a penalty in the 10 th minute, after FAR defender Hatim Essaouabi touched the ball with his hand inside the area.

Four minutes after the break Essaouabi failed to clear the ball from a corner to score on his own net.

Despite their domination in terms of possession during the full 90 minutes of the game, the Moroccan side failed to pose a real threat on Future FC backline.

Future FC will host ASKO de Kara on Sunday 19 March before ending their Group stage campaign two weeks later in Cairo against Pyramids FC in an all Egyptian clash.
