The Egyptian side will play the first-leg in Cairo on Sunday 23 April before playing the second-leg in South Africa on week later.
The winner of the game will face the winner of the match between Rivers United and Young Africans.
Founded in 2021, the South African side reached the quarters after leading Group A with 12 points, one point ahead of USMA of Algeria.
Despite their success on continental level, the South African side is struggeling in the domestic league as they lie in the bottom of table with six games remaining in the South African league.
On the other hand, Pyramids FC qualified for the last-eight round as second of Group C with 11 points, on level with leaders FAR Rabat who topped the Group due to their better head-to-head record against the Egyptian side.
Pyramids FC have reached the final of the Confederation Cup in their maiden participation in 2020 before losing to Morocco’s RS Berkane. In 2021 they lost in the semi-final while in 2022 they were eliminated from the competition’s quarters.
