After securing a victory against NBE Club on Sunday, Zamalek President Mortada Mansour announced that the club had reached a final agreement with Colombian coach Juan Carlos Osorio to take charge of the White Knights.

Osorio, who arrived in Cairo on Wednesday, would watch the game from the stands before officialy starting his mission on Friday, according to the club president.

Zamalek lie fourth in the league table with 36 points, 12 points behind leaders Future FC, who played one match more.

The White Knights victory on Sunday against the NBE Club ended a three-match winless streak in all competitions.

It was the defending champions' first victory in the Egyptian league since their 3-1 victory over Smouha back in February.

The White Knights  have only won two games out of their last 12 league matches.

A win over Harras El-Hedoud on Thursday would give the White Knights their first back-to-back win in the league in 2023.
