Reports suggest that he is set to take over as head coach of Esperance de Tunis, who are currently seeking a replacement for Nabil Maaloul, who resigned earlier this month.

Toulan is one of the most experienced coaches in the Egyptian league, having previously managed Cairo giants, Zamalek, on multiple occasions.

He has also had spells with several other clubs in the league, including Enppi, Harras El-Hodoud, Ittihad of Alexandria, and Smouha.

Toulan's first game in charge of Ceramica Cleopatra will be on Wednesday when they face Future FC in Cairo.

Ceramica Cleopatra are currently 12th in the league table with 31 points, just three points ahead of NBE Club, who are on the verge of relegation.

Toulan will be tasked with improving the team's position in the league and ensuring that they avoid the drop.
