Ahly head to Morocco for CAF Champions League final against Wydad

Ahly have travelled to Morocco on Thursday to play Wydad Casablanca in the second leg of the CAF Champions League final at the Mohamed V stadium on Sunday.

Coach Marcel Koller took all his players with him as most of his men have recovered from injuries.

The squad has been boosted by the return of the team's first-choice goalkeeper, Mohamed El-Shennawy, who has recovered from a calf injury that sidelined him in the first leg.

Tunisian winger Mohamed Dhaoui, who joined the team last winter, will also be available, alongside veteran defender Rami Rabia, who recently recovered from a knee injury.

The team has a light training before heading to the airport.

Ahly secured a narrow advantage in the first leg of the Champions League final after defeating Wydad de Casablanca 2-1 at Cairo stadium on Sunday.

The Red Devils are seeking a recod-extending 11th Champions League title while Wydad are looking for a fourth title.
