The talented defender netted an impressive 78th-minute equalizer, resulting in Ahly clinching the title following their 2-1 home victory last week.
"Of course, I am happy with the goal, but it is a testament to the collective efforts of all the players, who displayed tremendous dedication throughout the game," he told beIN Sports in a post-match interview.
The Red Devils had faced a setback last year when they lost the Champions League title to Wydad by a 2-0 margin. However, they returned to Casablanca this year with determination and reclaimed the championship.
"This Champions League victory holds special significance for me as it is my first. I was devastated last year due to an injury that prevented me from helping my teammates," he added.
The 24-year-old player, who scored three goals in the Champions League, acknowledged that the team encountered difficulties during the initial stages of the competition but gradually improved and ultimately secured the coveted title.
"We acknowledge that our performance during the group stage was not up to our usual standards. However, we remained focused on our objective and persevered despite the criticism. With each stage, we showed significant improvement, and this title is well-deserved," he concluded.
