This will be their first appearance since winning the continental title.
Earlier this month, Ahly secured their 11th Champions League title at the expense of Moroccan side Wydad de Casablanca.
They will now be aiming to beat Harras El-Hodoud to edge closer to regaining the domestic league title.
The Red Devils are on the brink of winning the domestic league, needing only 15 points from 30 possible to secure the title previously held by archrivals Zamalek in the past two seasons.
They are currently placed second in the league table with 62 points, trailing leaders Pyramids FC by just two points, who played six matches more.
Ahly skipper Mohamed El-Shennawi said, "We have finished our celebrations after winning the African title. We are now focusing on the domestic league, which is our current target."
Coach Marcel Koller is expected to give many substitute players a chance during this game, as he seeks to test his players and prepare his strategy for the next season.
On paper, Ahly should have a straightforward task against bottom-side Harras El-Hodoud, whose hopes of staying in the top division are slim.
The military side must win all their remaining four games to secure their place in the first division.
They are currently at the bottom of the table with just 20 points, 12 points behind Aswan, who are on the brink of relegation.
Although Harras El-Hodoud's mission against Ahly seems nearly impossible, they will be eager to cause a surprise and create good memories with the elite before leaving the league.
