"Beating our arch-rivals is great. We played a great game in the first half, but the players struggled to maintain focus in the second. Zamalek exploited our lack of concentration and created several chances, although they failed to convert them into goals," Koller told Egyptian satellite channel On Sport after the match.

Ahly showcased a masterclass in the first half, leading 3-0. However, they adopted a more defensive approach after the break, resulting in a 4-1 final score.

"It's been a long season, and all the players delivered solid performances throughout the game and the entire season. I always intervene when I see that the team is not performing well. Now, I have to rotate the squad and give some players rest to prevent fatigue and injuries. They need a long break before the next season," he added.

The Red Devils have successfully reclaimed the league title, with four games still remaining.

In his extraordinary maiden season, Swiss coach Koller, who took over the helm in September 2022, has already guided the team to five titles in just 10 months. This remarkable achievement includes victories in the Egyptian Super Cup in October 2022 and May 2023, the Egypt Cup in April, the African Champions League in June, and now the league title.

"I have previously won three titles in a season, but this is the first time I've won five. I approach every game with the aim to win, and I hope to secure more titles for the club and the fans," Koller concluded.
