Although El-Shahat apologized to El-Chibi after the incident, Ahly's management decided to penalize him for his actions.
Pyramids FC football director Hani Saied declared that his team will file a complaint with the Egyptian Football Association disciplinary committee against El-Shahat.
"We will compile all videos that show the player's behaviour against El-Chibi after the game as it's not the first time for the players to be insulted against the same opponents," said Saied in a television programme after the game.
In the 30 June stadium, Ahly suffered their first loss of the season on Sunday when they were beaten by Pyramids FC.
Although Ahly lost to Pyramids FC, their status remains unaffected as they had already secured the League title two weeks ago.
Pyramids FC, who have played one game more than the leaders, are currently in second place with 73 points, trailing by nine points.
